\ ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\ Driving spikes\ Moving and setting cross ties and lengths of steel rail\ Shoveling stone\ Adjusting switches\ Lubricating switches\ Tightening track bolts\ Checking track gauge\ Checking cross level\ Carrying track jack (approx 40 lbs)\ Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)\ Other duties as assigned
