Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Kansas City, Kansas
Description We are in search of a diligent and meticulous Credit Clerk to augment our team based in Kansas City, Kansas. The role entails processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries. The job function also includes monitoring customer credit accounts and taking necessary actions to collect overdue payments.
Responsibilities:
• Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency
• Ensure the maintenance of accurate customer credit records
• Handle and resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely manner
• Monitor customer credit accounts and initiate necessary actions for overdue payments
• Interface with Manufacturing and Warehouse teams to ensure customers' orders are executed satisfactorily
• Communicate with customers regarding product inquiries, manage issues, and ensure customer satisfaction
• Troubleshoot invoice and shipping issues as required to ensure prompt and accurate updates
• Actively participate in cross-functional teams to enhance customer satisfaction and improve sales processes
• Carry out certification functions, converting raw materials and packaging items into finished goods in the ERP system
• Act as a backup for office activities and other tasks as necessary
• Adhere to all safety procedures and practices.
This role requires skills in Microsoft Excel, Customer Service, Account Management, and the ability to Resolve Customer Complaints. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Proven experience in Customer Service
• Demonstrable skills in Account Management
• Ability to effectively resolve customer complaints
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Knowledge of purchasing and procurement principles
• Experience in a similar role would be advantageous
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field is preferred.
