Qualifications include a doctorate in nuclear engineering or a closely related field. The ideal candidate will have a background in thermal hydraulics, nuclear reactor design, and/or energy storage systems. An applicant whose background includes multiphysics modeling and simulation, small modular reactors, and microreactors is especially desirable. However, applicants with backgrounds in any area related to advanced nuclear reactor enabling technologies will be considered.\ \ Why Join Us:\ K-State is one of only 25 U.S. universities with a research reactor.
