Join us--we could use your expertise on our team!\ \ The Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) Compliance Manager (ODA-CM) is an essential component to the overall operation and proper function of the ODA. As a Compliance Manager, you will report to the FAA Lead ODA administrator. This position manages and monitors ODA Compliance activities. In addition to ensuring continuous compliance with FAA Guidance, the ODA Procedures Manual (OPM) and all sub-tier processes and procedures, you will be providing oversight for the activities of the ODA Technical Analyst while working to increase the efficiencies and capabilities of the overall ODA Compliance function. The position also requires substantial interaction with the FAA Organizational Management Team Lead regarding all Compliance activities and supporting deliverables. You will be expected to learn to ensure processes and procedures are appropriately documented, with special attention to compliance with the OPM.

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in finance, accounting, economics

  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education

  • Comprehensive knowledge of FAA regulations, policies, and procedures applicable to the ODA functions in aircraft certification and airworthiness

  • Demonstrated sound judgment and integrity

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Minimum Fundamental Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities as necessary to appropriately perform the functions of the job

Preferred:

  • Thorough knowledge of FAA Regulations and Guidance materials

  • Prior experience with FAA Certification Standards (14 CFR Part 23, 25, 27, 29) and Military certification (MIL-HDBK-516) programs

  • Previous experience in Aircraft Certification and Airworthiness requirements

  • Thorough knowledge of the FAA Conformity Inspection process

  • Thorough knowledge of the Supplemental Type Certification process

  • Thorough knowledge of Certification Ground and Flight Test procedures

  • Thorough knowledge of RCCA Analysis, Implementation and Verification

  • Demonstrated ability to work under compressed schedules and complete tasks accurately
