Job Duties: This position is a full-time, secretarial position for the Court Services office. Work will involve assisting Court Services Officers with the processing of case files following well-established procedures, completing statistical reports, handling case flow management, and providing information and assistance to members of the judiciary, attorneys, law enforcement agencies, other state agencies, and the public.

Required Education and Experience: Graduation from high school or equivalency and six months of experience in secretarial work.

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:

  • Courteous, professional, and cooperative.

  • Knowledge of modern office management practices and procedures.

  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

  • Ability to understand court procedures and policies.

  • Skills in the operating of office equipment.

  • Must be able to work with some degree of independence and responsibility.

  • Must have good customer services skills.

  • Maintain confidentiality.

    Additional Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the court system or legal experience is a plus.

  • One year of experience in secretarial or clerical work.
