Assists consumers with new orders, advises of status of orders in process, furnishes information on new products, and sends product literature. Processes returns. Courteously and promptly resolves consumer questions and problems or properly refers them to appropriate personnel. Completes related records, reports, and documentation. Performs miscellaneous clerical duties as required.Job Duties:Assumes responsibility for the accurate entry of consumer orders.Receives orders by chat, text, phone, fax, mail, email, website and consumer walk-ins.Processes orders, enters into computer and, sends to Shipping Department.Acknowledges faxed and mailed orders. Verifies pricing, discounts, billing and shipping addresses, credit status, and informs consumers of any problems. Notifies consumers of product backorders and anticipated availability.Maintains files and updates addresses.Researches and resolves problems with orders.Contacts UPS to resolve shipping issues.Assumes responsibility for effectively performing miscellaneous consumer service functions.Sets up and processes new consumers. Sends literature and/or price lists.Processes consumer returns. Determines nature and reason for return and assesses whether product is returnable. Corrects and reships incorrect orders. Processes related consumer paperwork and credits. Sends returned product to Warranty or Rework department for check.Informs consumers of credit holds.Conducts consumer surveys.Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining professional working relations with consumers.Resolves questions, requests, and problems promptly and courteously.Keeps consumers informed of Company policies, procedures, and status of their orders and accounts.Politely obtains and conveys information as needed.Maintains the Company's professional reputation.Provides superior consumer service.Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective working relations, communication, and coordination with Company personnel and management.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.Knowledge of Company products and sales policies and procedures.Consumer service and data entry experience preferred.Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment.Ability to problem-solve and work within deadlines.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Well organized and attentive to detail.Excellent phone etiquette.Willingness to assist others.Ability to proficiently operate computer applications including:ERP SystemsMicrosoft Office SuiteInternetBi-lingual Spanish preferred, but not required.Strong typing abilities. Able to use PC, calculator, and office equipment.E.O.E.
