Responsible for leading and coordinating the work of electrician positions in installing, maintaining, repairing and removing of electrical systems, equipment and fixtures in all areas of the plant. Work is performed with a continuous improvement mentality and will work to perpetuate a Creekstone Proud culture through attitude and actions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Complete preventive maintenance assignments, fill out paperwork, complete assigned work orders, plan electrical project scope and material requirements, follow the directions that are given, work well with others, always besafety-mindedwhen working onany equipment, ask for help when needed, and keep work areas safe and clean.
- Fix any problems found and report to supervisor.
- Inform supervisors immediately of issues impeding production or facilities electrical systems or issues with associates.
- Must be able train new associates. Instructs, directs any maintenance trainees assigned and delegates tasks and set schedules in absence of the supervisor.
- Maintain a safe and accident-free environment by adhering to safety standards and identifying safety issues and reporting them to the supervisor or safety manager.
- Make sure all team members follow all safety procedures.
- Must be a good listener and have the ability to receive commands/request over two-way radios, and other communication devices.
- Report machine repair status and updates, email turnover sheets, order parts, communicate with offsite tech support and search shared folder help files.
- Must be able to understand and anticipate maintenance/production schedules to ensure proper resources are assigned.
- Must be able to handle multiple projects.
- Must be able to work any shift, hours, or days needed.
