Position Overview:\ The Executive Director serves as the chief executive officer of the Winfield Arts and Humanities Council, working in close partnership with the Administrative Assistant to ensure efficient operations while providing strategic leadership to advance the organization\'s mission of enriching the community through arts and culture.\ WAHC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.\ \ Compensation:\ \$20 - \$25/hr (36 hrs/week), with potential for supplemental funding through grant opportunities in the future\ Benefits available\ Sometimes events may require working outside of normal operating hours\ \ Duties and Responsibilities:\ Strategic Leadership & Governance: Lead and guide the organizations direction and policies\ Financial Management & Development: Manage finances and find new funding sources\ Programming & Operations: Oversee daily operations and develop programs\ Staff & Volunteer Management: Manage employees and volunteers\ Facility & Collection Management: Maintain the facilities and manage collections\ Community Engagement & External Relations: Build relationships and engage with the community\ \ Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5 years of leadership experience
  • Experience in fundraising and grant writing
  • Financial management and budgeting skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

\ Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Arts Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience working with a Board of Directors
  • Knowledge of contemporary art and cultural programming
  • Experience managing small, efficient teams
  • Familiarity with digital technologies and social media platforms
  • Understanding of the local/regional arts community
