job summary:

Manufacturer south of Arkansas City is seeking a Manufacturing Inventory Manager to add to their team. The ideal candidate will have solid inventory management experience in a manufacturing environment as well as previous supervisory experience. Solid knowledge of ERP systems required, as well as strong communication and organizational skills. Will relocate for the right candidate.

All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

salary: $70,000 - 75,000 per year

work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:

  • Oversee inventory levels including costing, reporting and controls; plan and organize inventory movement

  • Serve as liaison between manufacturing, procurement and finance

  • Work with manufacturing leadership to optimize cost and maintain inventory stock

  • Implement and promote 6S standards for the inventory department

  • Oversee inventory department employees

  • Develop metrics for inventory accuracy, including financial graphs and charts showing counting results, root cause analysis and corrective actions

  • Create reports to facilitate production responses to shortages; create procedures for inventory management practices

  • Conduct performance reviews for inventory staff

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in ERP management

  • Proficiency with MS Office software and complex spreadsheets and databases; presentation software

  • Previous supervisory experience

  • Solid inventory experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
