DJ Engineering has recently developed a wood shop to support our shipping departments. The Carpenter will be responsible for fabricating mainly shipping crates and pallets to ship aerospace parts and tools.
Responsibilities:
- Using equipment such as table saws, miter saws, circular saws, pneumatic staplers/nailers, hand tools, tape measures, etc.
- Fabricating crates ranging from hand held size to large shipping container size.
- Reading blue prints to meet customer requirements.
- Lifting and moving lumber up to 50 lbs.
- Periodic maintenance of the wood shop equipment.
- Complete other duties around the shop as needed.
