This job was posted by https://www.kansasworks.com : For more information, please see: https://www.kansasworks.com/ada/r/jobs/11344541 Operating large farm equipment and machinery equipped with GPS for cultivating, tilling, fertilizing, planting, moving, storing, harvesting grain and oilseed crops such as corn, soybeans, wheat; operating farm equipment for swathing, raking, baling, rebanding, stacking, tarping and transporting hay; drive forklifts to move small, large, round and square bales for storage & transporting; repair, refurbish, replace broken parts, lubricate and change fluids on farm tractors, balers, conditioners, rakes, stackers and trailers; wash farm equipment using high pressure washers; assist with the installation, operation, and maintenance of irrigation systems; assist with grain bin and auger operation; Repairs and maintenance to machinery, fences and irrigation; driving farm vehicle; minor daily and incidental upkeep to equipment and worksite.Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities at no cost to the worker, all of which are in working order, including refrigeration, space for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure. Employer will provide transportation once a week to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries.The employer shall provide transportation in the form of bus, farm vehicle, van, or other common means between the place where the employer has provided housing to the actual work site and return at the end of the work day. Such transportation will be without cost to the worker, and the means of transportation shall meet all applicable safety standards. Daily transportation is also available at no cost to workers who do not reside in employer provided housing and are unable to return to their primary residence at the end of each day.
