Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Machinist to join our team. Our company manufactures ammunition for the military and is experiencing significant growth. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career advancement and skill development.
Responsibilities
Take designs and read blueprints to assist with material procurement
Set up and run Bridgeport manual lathes
Perform fine grinding of parts
Build equipment and machines
Utilize precision measuring tools daily
Work with smaller parts
Essential Skills
Experience with tool and die
Proficiency in running a manual lathe for at least 2 years
Experience with lathes, mills, machining, and grinders
Proficient in using calipers and micrometers
Experience in die repair and tooling
Ability to read blueprints for at least 2 years
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Bridgeport lathes
Ability to work off of blueprints

Work Environment
1st Shift: 6am-4pm (Monday-Thursday). The option to work before the shift or a half day on Friday is available. The current staff is working around 50 hours, but new hires may not need to work as many hours initially. The shop is climate-controlled and very clean, with two facilities located next to each other. The maintenance manager emphasizes that the work environment is clean and organized, ensuring employees can leave work without feeling dirty.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr.
