We are recruiting candidates for a Technician at our LaCygne Generating Station, wage rate $59.87 per hour. Please find below a list of the minimum requirements for the position. Job Duties: • Inspect, analyze, repair, test, clean and calibrate complex electrical and mechanical systems. Install and maintain all types of instruments and controls. • Ability to utilize all types of test equipment to diagnose electronic and mechanical equipment performance. • Assist on performance and acceptance tests on new and existing equipment. • Performs similar and related work consistent with the general nature of this job classification.
Experience: Five years' experience in an electrical generation power plant or similar industrial concern with at least three years' experience as a technician or equivalent. Applicant must have successfully completed Evergy’s technician trainee program or an equivalent technician-training program. Training and experience should include maintaining complex control systems involving electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical devices. Successful completion of training programs and experience other than Evergy’s must be documented.
