Orizon Aerostructures Receiving Clerk I in Chanute, Kansas

Description

Summary: Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment. Compares identifying information and counts, weights, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments. Verifies information against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records. Correctly picks up and delivers property to various locations.

Responsibilities Level 1:

  • Identify parts with digital pictures.

  • Build boxes to comply with shipping requirements

  • Load merchandise into van or truck

  • Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment

  • Sorts, counts, packages, labels, ensures, unpacks and processes receipts for incoming property

  • Correctly match paperwork to outbound property

  • Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives and standards.

  • Maintains safe and clean work environment; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures

  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

Qualifications Level 1:

  • Must exhibit professionalism when communicating with superiors and subordinates.

  • Must demonstrate the ability to read, analyze, and follow work instructions, procedure manuals and blueprints.

  • Must demonstrate the ability to understand and work with basic mathematical concepts

  • Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.

  • Must have the ability to work independently and within a team environment.

  • Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner.

  • Must have the ability and willingness to work extended hours and overtime, including weekends, as required by the work schedule and production needs

  • Must be able to pay attention to detail.
