Duties and Responsibilities Troubleshoot, solve problems, provide technical support, and answer questions for internal and external customers. Telephone technical support and repair of Kustom products. Email technical support and repair of Kustom products. Maintain customer contact and management reporting system to enable other company employees to see historical data of all communications and corrective actions taken with individual customer. Generate and respond to Customer Complaint Reports. Generate parts orders for parts or assemblies that are required by customers. Generate Preauthorization numbers for Authorized Service Center Repairs. Occasional overtime/flexible schedule to meet the needs or international customers. Other duties as assigned. Equipment To Be Used PC, Windows OS devices, Android OS devices, web based communication applications, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, multi-meter, small hand tools, and basic test equipment. Typical Physical Demands Regularly required to sit, occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Will occasionally be required to lift and/or move twenty-five (25) pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. Typical Mental Demands Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively over the phone with customers. Solve practical problems. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Working Conditions Quiet, temperature controlled, office environment. Spending about sixty (60) to seventy (70) percent on the phone and about thirty (30) percent on the computer. Travel Travel based on business need.
