Job Description: Level 2 custodians are expected to primarily work in an independent\ capcity. It is necessary for them to develop a cleaning routine which ensures that their assigned\ building/work areas are maintained in a clean, sanitary, and safe manner that is not only\ functional, but attractive for school and community use.\ Essential Functions:\ Arrange furnishings and equipment to providing adequate preparations for school and events.\ Clean assigned areas/facilities to maintain a sanitary, safe and attractive environment.\ Inspect assigned ares/facilities to ensure that the site is safe and suitable for use.\ Maintain and stock supplies and/or equipment to ensure availability of items for building use.\ Respond to immediate safety and/or operational concerns and take appropriate action to\ resolve the safety issue.\ Secure facilities and grounds for the purpose of minimizing property damage, loss, and\ potential libility.\ Complete employer required tranings for the iurpose of maintaing current knowledge regarding\ specific job and/or district, state, and federal rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and law.\ Other Functions:\ Assist other personnel as may be required for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective\ work environment.
