For these jobs we are seeking hands-on individuals who can work longer hours in challenging conditions. Experience in a soybean processing plant, refinery, mill, or grain elevator would be helpful, but is not required.
The duties of this hands-on job will include soybean receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, and transferring; monitoring stored grain condition; loading out soybean meal and oil; and maintaining and cleaning receiving and loadout facilities and equipment to provide a safe environment for you and fellow workers. Receiving and Loadout Operators will be cross trained to perform a variety of tasks.
This job will be a 2nd shift, usually 2pm to 10:30pm, with some overtime, including weekends.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in a processing plant, refinery, mill, or elevator is preferred
Available to work off hours and weekends
Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
Physical requirements
This job can be physically strenuous
You will be expected to be able to work in tight and confinedspaces
You will work at heights
You will need the ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to50 pounds and occasionally more
This job will require the ability to ascend/descend ladders
You will be required to wear PPE
