ManTech DevOps Engineer in Coffeyville, Kansas
Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented DevOps Engineer mid-level to join our team! For this position the work is remote but a onetime trip to Clarksburg WV customer site is required for processing with the customer.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Deploys and configures services using infrastructure as a service provider (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Engine, RackSpace/OpenStack).
Configures and manages Linux-based servers to serve a dynamic website.
Debugs cluster-based computing architectures.
Uses scripting or basic programming skills to solve problems.
Installs and manag 3 year’s w/Bachelor’s1 year’s w/Master’s es open-source monitoring tools.
Configures management tools (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt).
Architecture for continuous integration and deployment, and continuous monitoring.
Uses and works with containerization technologies (e.g., LXC, Docker, Rocket).
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Degree with 2 years of experience, Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or IT related field and 3 years of related experience, or 1 year’s w/Master’s.
Experience with Java in Linux environments.
Ability to develop program logic for new applications or analyze existing applications.
Experienced with codes, tests, debugs and maintaining software applications.
Ability to analyze requirements and maintain test and integrate applications. Ability to solve a range of problems independently.
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; priority given to candidates with an active Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.
Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
