TheHousekeepercleans all areas of the hospital by performing routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, restrooms and corridors.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Routinely cleans patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, restrooms and corridors, as assigned
- Complete work assignment in a timely manner
- Utilize appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure with focus on safety
- Use and maintain equipment properly with focus on safety
- Transport trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal area
- Replenish supplies
- Follow all infection control practices including hand washing techniques, standard precautions and isolation precautions
- Cleans and maintains carpet and tiled floors by using heavy equipment to clean, strip and wax floors on a rotating basis
- Observes safety precautions at all times
- Maintain confidentiality of all information according to HIPAA and company policy
TheHousekeeperassumes other responsibilities as assigned.
