TheMaintenance Specialistassures all areas of the hospital, equipment, systems and grounds are safely operational performing at optimum abilities. S/he maintains, repairs and conducts preventative maintenance on all areas of the hospital.
JOB DUTIES
- Perform daily visual inspections of assigned equipment and facilities
- Keep appropriate inventory of parts and supplies to expedite equipment and system repairs
- Assist with daily building maintenance, including repair and preventative maintenance of building, systems and equipment
- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, install and other work as needed in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, boilers, welding painting, etc.
- Ensures the facility and its grounds are neat, tidy and safe
- Perform painting, electrical wiring, carpentry, plumbing, etc.
- Ensure all maintenance areas are organized, clean and free of abnormal hazards
- Verifies all equipment/systems have completed data sheet with service/operator manuals and properly filed
- Performs all duties in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain confidentiality of all information according to HIPAA and company policy
TheMaintenance Specialistassumes other responsibilities as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Analytical ability to apply criteria and evaluate information to make decisions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; and excellent interpersonal skills in teaming with patients, medical staff and the public
- Detail oriented with proven ability to multitask
- Professional appearance and ease in developing rapport with others
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds, as well as stand, walk, talk, hear, sit; reach with arms, hands and fingers to handle and feel; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; taste and smell as demonstrated by passing Level 4 Occupational Performance Capacity (OPC) test and/or pre-employment physical administered by CRMC at offer, required
