The City of Coffeyville is seeking an experiencedSuperintendent of Fiber Internet Utilityto manage and oversee our fiber internet network and construction projects. This role is responsible to plan, organize, and control project activities while coordinating field operations, supervising personnel, sub-contractors and managing materials, ensuring the successful execution of construction projects.
As Superintendent, your responsibilities will include scheduling work to meet project timelines, overseeing staff on work sites, and conducting audits and inspections to ensure that work aligns with blueprints and complies with safety standards. You will also manage material and equipment orders, maintain inventory, and ensure the availability of necessary resources. Technical proficiency is crucial, as you will need to use power and hand tools safely, read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics, and troubleshoot and repair telecom equipment.
