What You'll Do:
The IT Business Partner – Solutions Manager is responsible for coordinating activities in support of our Panasonic sales companies. This position is responsible for maintaining a close working relationship between the business unit and the IT organization for the purpose of coordinating the activities that result in developing IT based solutions that integrate into Panasonic business products. This individual plays a key role in assisting Panasonic product managers in developing “saleable” solutions using IT technologies such as cloud based services; SaaS, PaaS and IaaS
Business Relationship
Build and maintain consultative relationships with business unit executives and management.
Support the business unit requirements and their need for developing “sellable” product solutions
Insure alignment of IT services with business unit needs and priorities.
Represent and communicate PNA ITs capability and competency to the business unit.
Act as the primary interface within PNA IT for business unit solution projects.
Coordinate and facilitate communications & information sharing with the appropriate PNA and Business unit management
Responsible for the multiple activities in multiple business units.
Manage the communication of the customer’s initiatives within PNA IT and to the customer’s management
Develop proposals for implementing IT services aligned with the customer’s product solution needs.
Maintain the customer expectations and anticipate their demand for IT solution services.
Solution Coordination
Plan, initiate and coordinate business unit requests for IT solutions
Work closely with business unit management, product managers and product engineering staff
Develop solution requirements definition documentation and business cases.
Develop IT solution design for meeting the business product requirements
Manage the IT solution implementation process
Identify changes/recommendations for integrating new solutions into the existing IT operational process
Develop solution proposals addressing both the technical architecture and financial funding requirements
Secure management and financial approvals
Provide project oversight, status reporting and problem escalation
Escalate issues and take corrective action
Solution Planning
Participate in the Product Planning Process to insure the proper level of IT support is enabled in meeting the desired product solution needs.
Responsible for the coordination and communication of IT participation in the solution planning process
Work closely with product managers to develop long-term and short term strategic product plans
Coordinate the participation of the various IT departments into the solution planning process
Prepare and maintain product development life cycle documentation
Scope:
No direct supervisory responsibilities
Manage projects and staff as related to specific assignments
Financial budgets related to IT solution design
Work and resource plans
Ensure compliance with all IT policies and procedures
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science is required, Computer Engineering is desired
5 years of IT experience with a focus on IT solution preferably cloud based technologies
Minimum of 5 years’ experience developing IT solutions, design and implementations
Experience in a broad scope of IT technologies including Cloud based solutions (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS)
Program Management Professional (PMP) certification desired
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired
Six Sigma certification desired
Competencies:
Comply with PNA policies and procedures, including but not limited to SOX, PC & PNA
Determine logical and practical solutions
Use broad systems thinking
Be creative/innovative
Identify and research problems
Communications:
Interface with all levels of the PNA, PNA IT and vendor organizations.
Ability to communicate with product engineering professionals
Regular communications with all levels of business unit and PNA IT management
Influence and persuade business management in the areas of developing sound and practical IT solutions
Other Requirements:
Up to 10% travel
Remote but preferred candidate will live in DeSoto, KS or Sparks, NV for a Hybrid schedule

The wage range of $150,000 - $170,000 is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives. *The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.
