Position Summary: As a Business Process Engineer within the Technology Department at Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our technology-driven manufacturing processes. You will collaborate closely with production teams, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our manufacturing operations.
Essential Duties:
Conduct detailed analysis of technology-driven manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, productivity, and quality.
Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize production workflows, minimize waste, and reduce cycle times, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and best practices.
Collaborate with Production Engineers and technology specialists to design and implement innovative solutions to address process inefficiencies and enhance overall operational performance.
Standardize processes across departments and functions, meticulously documenting procedures to ensure consistency and alignment with organizational objectives.
Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of process improvement projects, from initial scoping and stakeholder engagement to implementation and performance monitoring.
Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to gather insights from production data, identify trends, and drive data-driven decision-making.
Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor process performance and track progress against operational targets.
Partner with Technology and Engineering teams to evaluate and integrate new technologies and manufacturing systems, ensuring seamless integration and compatibility with existing processes.
Provide technical expertise and support to production teams during troubleshooting and problem-solving activities, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the Technology Department, promoting knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:
- To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees’, wearing PPE is a possibility and includes equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator.

Qualifications: Requirements - Required and/or Preferred
Education
Basic/Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Preferred: Master’s Degree
Essential Qualifications
Proven experience in process engineering or production engineering within a technology-driven manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies, with a focus on technology integration and automation.
Proficiency in data analytics tools and techniques, with the ability to analyze complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a strategic mindset and a focus on driving tangible business outcomes.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement principles.
Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English
