We are seeking dedicated individuals to join us as full-time, on-site team members at our new, state-of-the-art factory located in the thriving city of DeSoto, Kansas.

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team as the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor. This role will lead Facilities Maintenance Team to support the development and execution of asset maintenance and reliability programs for our Facilities infrastructure. As the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for building, leading, and developing a Facilities Maintenance Team with diverse skillsets. In addition, this role will co-lead the development and sharing of maintenance best practices and create standardized reporting metrics/KPIs across the organization. You will also support the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) programs and ensure your team has the training and tools necessary to optimize asset reliability.

Essential Duties:

  • Builds, leads, and develops the Facilities Maintenance Team (6+ personnel) to ensure maintenance excellence and excellent customer service.

  • Work with the Facilities Operations Team to develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules for all buildings and systems.

  • Report to the Facilities Maintenance and Reliability Manager, providing regular updates on the status of maintenance tasks, projects, and any issues that arise.

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Facilities Maintenance Team, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.

  • Responds to site emergencies in support of the Facilities Operations Team, and all other agencies within the PECNA Group, and external Agencies, i.e., Fire, and other local agencies.

  • Conduct regular audits/inspections of facilities to identify and address any maintenance issues or safety hazards.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with contracts and agreements.

  • Assist in the development and management of the Facilities Maintenance budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.

  • Train and mentor Facilities Maintenance staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies and any other regulations.

  • Collaborate with other departments to address any Facilities-related issues or concerns.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Facilities Maintenance and Reliability Manager.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:

  • To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees’, wearing PPE is a possibility and includes equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator.

Qualifications: Requirements - Required and/or Preferred

Education

  • Basic/Required: High School Diploma or GED.

  • Preferred: Trade school/vocational graduate preferred.

Essential Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Facilities Maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

  • Strong knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMSs).

  • Strong knowledge of building systems (mechanical, electrical, and controls) and infrastructure, safety regulations, and maintenance best practices.

  • Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) programs.

  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations.

  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

  • Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.

  • Requires valid State-issued driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completion of a craft apprenticeship.

Preferred Certification(s):

  • Mobile Equipment Work Platform (MEWP) trainer.

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30.

  • HAZWOPER 8 or 40.
