We are seeking dedicated individuals to join us as full-time, on-site team members at our new, state-of-the-art factory located in the thriving city of DeSoto, Kansas.
Panasonic is seeking an HR Specialist specializing in Talent Acquisition and in HRIS to support our HR department. This is an important role and will assist in supporting talent acquisition needs and maintaining the data integrity in the HRIS system of us. Essential Duties:
Collaborates with business leaders and hiring managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
Manages the talent acquisition processes within the HRIS environment while being flexible and nimble to the business and evolving requirements.
Develops and provides training to relevant stakeholders on the TA processes both functionally and within the HRIS environment.
Responsible for Talent Acquisition Dashboard, to include tracking and reporting used for metrics and forecasts
Supports the onboarding of new hires, to include background screening process, relocation and readiness for Day 1
Acts as primary point of contact for new employees pre-hire
Assists in collecting I-9 documents and submits E-Verify for new employees
Partner with applicable teams including IT, Payroll and HR to proactively problem solve for new hire issues
Support any internal and external audits regarding HR processes, ensuring compliance to existing audit standards.
Providing hands on support to the HR functional team and business.
Collaborates effectively with others to execute tasks and fulfill key deliverables within the HR functional area(s).
Ensures high quality HR transactional data management.
Provides input on improving the overall operational systems employee experience.
Participates in set up of HR programs, as directed and needed.
Required to maintain the confidential nature of all employees and company proprietary and privileged information used or observed while performing job duties.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:
- To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees’, wearing PPE is a possibility and includes equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator.

Qualifications: Requirements - Required and/or Preferred
Education:
- Basic/Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field. Relevant work experience may substitute for required education.
Essential Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in talent acquisition
Previous HRIS experience required
Exceptional attention to detail
Analytical orientation – demonstrated capability for data-driven decisions and data analysis. High systems comfort level.
Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience developing and facilitating workflows and standard operating procedures to both employees and within an HRIS environment
