Panasonic North America Maintenance Manager in De Soto, Kansas

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join us as full-time, on-site team members at our new, state-of-the-art factory located in the thriving city of DeSoto, Kansas.

Essential Duties:
Manage, establish, and communicate directions and priorities for maintenance team.
Drive maintenance and reliability initiative focused on preventive and predictive rather than reactive maintenance.
Developing and maintaining department KPI and goals, monitoring for efficiencies, labor cost, and other department expenses
Partnering with cross functional teams to manage, maintain and establish maintenance procedures for Production lines to ensure demand targets are met and exceeded.
Maintain manufacturing assets and facility, parts inventory, monitoring purchase orders, invoice approvals.
Provides training and continuous development to both direct and indirect team members.
Conduct periodic reviews for team performance and actively engage in team member development.
Actively promote continuous improvement culture within maintenance areas (floor support, schedulers, MRO planners, and leadership
Solid track record of Safety improvements through Behavioral Based Safety Hazard identifications and risk assessment
Establish work with solid AC+R process ( Asset Care and Reliability )
Education:
- Basic/Required: bachelor’s degree in engineering or business or equivalent
Essential Qualifications:
Maintenance management experience at a minimum of 5+ years in high-volume manufacturing setting
Lean Six Sigma, continuous process improvement experience.
Computer skills equivalent to warehouse management systems, ERP / SAP experience and MS Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with 6S methodology
Excellent Communication Skills
Must be willing to work some irregular hours as dictated by business needs.
Scalable direct supervisory experience, able to manage upwards of 100+ employees.
Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven leadership skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development.
Excellent relationship management skills
Analytical and problem-solving abilities, implementation of process improvements
Results orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against production deadlines and goals.
Resilient, self-motived and able to work well under pressure.
Inventory control management experience
Prior experience with multiple CMMS programs
Weekly/monthly scheduling and headcount plan background
