A laboratory professional responsible for performance of all levels of general testing within the analytical laboratory. The Medical Lab Tech provides a high level of technical knowledge and application of that knowledge to department testing and clinical relevance. In this role you will consistently functions in a self-directed manner and exhibits complex problem solving skills.

What You Bring/Job Requirements:

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

To qualify for a Medical Laboratory Technician position:

• 1 year related work experience preferred

• Associates Degree in laboratory science OR

• Bachelors Degree in related sciences, OR

• Completion of a U.S. Military 50-week course leading to specialty of Medical Laboratory Specialist or equivalent role

• MLT ASCP or equivalent certification required within 6 months of hire

To qualify for a Medical Technician position:

• 1 year related work experience preferred

• Associates Degree required

• Bachelors Degree preferred

• MLS (or MT) ASCP or categorical/specialty certification or equivalent required within 6 months of hire

Physical Requirements-Light work - (Exert up to 20lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 10lbs frequently)
