Responsible for the manual unloading and moving of product by hand or use of electric pallet jack. 3.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIESEnsures all returned products are inspected, reworked or reprocessed using current work instructions and visuals for all products ensuring they meet all critical to quality (CTQ) standardsEnsures reworked product is identified as returned to inventory prior to releasing to warehouseEnsures proper paperwork completed for tracking all RIP used or returned during rework process Ensures rework is completed using the most efficient flow to optimize outputUnloads and moves product from container to designated locationsAssists distribution center as neededMaintains a clean and organized working environmentOther duties/project as assigned4.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or equivalent required5.COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)Communication skills (must be able to understand all written and verbal work orders and instructions)Must be very safety and quality consciousAbility to work well in a team setting Ability to unload containers safely and efficiently in pre-determined time allotmentWork history should demonstrate safety, efficiency, flexibility and willingness to learnOrganizational skills (must be able to keep track of inventory and keep work area clean)6.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENTThe physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Frequent exposure to warehouse operations requires the understanding and use of required PPE applicable to that environment. The ability to tolerate extreme temperatures while working in the warehouse environment is a requirement. Low impact repetitive motions are frequent and must be physically tolerated. The employee must be able to meet the physical requirements of standing for 8 hours on a concrete surface and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
