Job Description

  • Trains and supervises Warehouse Lead Workers and ensures understanding of organization and operation policies and service guidelines. Ensures proper inventory, receiving, storage and billing and filling of orders to retail customers. Maintains accurate inventory records to ensure the measurement of physical inventory on hand. Ensures the storage and restocking of product returns. Directs the filling and loading and checking of product orders for retail customers through the management of Warehouse Workers compared to computer inventory.

  • Participates in the maintenance of accurate inventory through weekly inventory cycle counts.

  • Supervises Warehouse Lead Workers to ensure timely reports of products billed to retailers but not shipped to insure timely preparation of credit memos. Coaches, directs and counsels Warehouse Workers on overall performance. Defines productivity expectations and monitors progress regularly.

  • Conducts meetings with Warehouse Lead Workers.

  • Reports on building security, vehicle security, warehouse loading productivity driver efficiency and check-in procedures/control.

  • Directs the replenishment of items/quantities sold daily.

  • Identifies and recommends opportunities for employee development and performance improvement requirements.

  • Provides accurate reports of equipment for maintenance and performance improvement requirements and recommends, as needed equipment/service maintenance.

  • Ensure that the trucks are loaded within the allotted window for drivers.

  • Monitor the picking accuracy.

  • Attends monthly safety meeting.

  • Participates in the On-Line training course each quarter.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Strong communication skills-verbal, motivation and facilitation of strong working relationships.

  • Strong supervisory skills in directing and coaching others.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 years’ experience in Warehouse Management and/or industry related experience.

  • AS400, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) applications.

  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds.

  • Independent discretion and judgment.

  • Attention to detail with a strong desire to deliver value-added support to external and internal clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree.

  • Forklift operating experience or certification.

  • WMS computer system experience.
