I. POSITION PURPOSE
Provides treatment and supervision of treatment staff to maintain clinical standards of care and provide direct clinical services throughout the agency’s 2INgage program based on direction by the Executive Director. Performs the following duties directly or through subordinates.
II. NATURE AND SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
+ Responsible for the overall treatment program, including clinical responsibility for the management of the 2INgage Program’s therapeutic interventions.
+ Provides direction and overall management of treatment program.
+ Oversees the treatment of all children receiving treatment services.
+ Maintains, reviews and executes Agency operations consistent with board policies and objectives as set forth by the Board of Directors, as directed by the Executive Director.
+ Attends meetings, workshops, conferences and forums to solicit information concerning the needs of public and private agencies for psychiatric treatment/social services.
+ Maintains a close working relationship with public and private agencies involved in providing psychiatric treatment and other relevant services.
+ Makes recommendations to senior staff on future programs based upon identified needs.
+ Analyzes Agency resources and capabilities and forwards recommendations.
+ Participates in the development of short, intermediate and long-range program plans and goals.
+ Participates in the formulation and administration of Agency policies and procedures applicable to the providing of psychiatric services and ensures that all such policies, procedures and practices meet all state, federal and accreditation agency requirements.
+ Responsible for providing standards and program goals as required by Agency policies.
+ Provides training to staff specific to their roles and responsibilities within the department.
+ Develops and implements procedures and controls to promote accurate and timely information flow.
+ Ensures all organizational activities are carried out in compliance with local, state and federal regulations and laws governing business operations.
+ Will be required to travel in order to attend meetings, training, or conduct business off site. Must have a valid driver's license and meet agency underwriting standards if driving on agency business. Not required to transport clients.
+ Refrains from assuming any duty that is unrelated to and/or interferes with the responsibilities of the position.
+ Provides regular supervision and professional development of Agency employees.
+ Advocates, promotes and practices cultural sensitivity and responsiveness in all day-to-day interactions.
+ Develops, promotes and practices teamwork in all activities.
+ Ensures family centered evidence based practices are applied in direct service delivery.
+ Other duties as assigned.
+ Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
+ Directly supervises employees as denoted on the Agency Organizational Chart in accordance with federal, state and/or accreditation requirements.
III. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
(1) Licensed as a psychiatrist, psychologist, professional counselor, clinical social worker, marriage and family therapist, or registered nurse; or
(2) Certified by the Texas Education Agency as an education diagnostician, have a master’s degree in special education or a human services field, and have three years of experience working with children with intellectual disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
