Job Title: Forklift Operator and Material Handler
Job Description
Join a family-owned ag-fertilizer supply company as a Warehouse Associate. Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for processing incoming and outgoing inventory, organizing the warehouse, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
Fulfill product order invoices
Unload material from incoming trucks
Load products onto delivery trucks for shipping
Assist with maintaining equipment, including cleaning out production equipment and lines
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Essential Skills
High School diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of experience in a warehouse setting
Strong organizational and time management skills
Basic math skills
Familiarity with computer and inventory software preferred
Ability to stand, sit, bend, kneel, squat, stack, lift, and walk for long periods of time
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with forklift, packing, material handling, inventory, packaging, pick, loading, and order picking
Ability to spend 80% of the time operating a forklift
Willingness to clean areas and assist in various tasks such as sweeping floors and preparing for the next day
Ability to read skews and work orders accurately to ensure correct order processing
Willingness to perform manual labor, including lifting 50-pound bags, when not operating the forklift

Work Environment
The position is based in a warehouse production environment with exposure to heat, cold, humid conditions, and dust. The typical schedule is between 6 am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday, with a minimum of 42.5 hours per week and additional overtime as needed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33280.00 - $37440.00/yr.
