BG Products, Inc. located in El Dorado, Kansas manufactures vehicle fluids for a network of distributors worldwide.
Work as part of ateamof employees.Electrician Helperswill assisting the electrical and maintenance teams with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical components and equipment.
We are looking to fill1^st^shiftpositions.
- Assist with installation/repair of electrical systems ranging from 12v to 480v.
- Cut, blend, thread, and run electrical conduit materials.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Read and interpret wiring schematics.
- Assist with predictive and preventative maintenance practices for all production and/or batching equipment.
- Identify and correct potential equipment problems using various troubleshooting methods.
- Perform all necessary maintenance tasks to production lines (changeovers, component replace/repair/rebuild, modifications).
- Install lighting, outlets, and circuit breakers.
- Install sounds systems, security systems and voice and data systems.
- Replace faulty circuit breakers, fuses, switches and other electrical components.
- Assist in repairs on motors, transformers and generators.
- Read and interpret drawings and wiring schematics.
- Complete work orders and record material utilized on jobs.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Assist with and perform electrical preventative and corrective maintenance on all plant equipment including facility assets.
- Always communicating with co-workers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Must be willing to help the jobsite team in the following areas: General Preventive Maintenance, welding, cleaning, housekeeping, and painting.
- Ensure quality of work to reduce call backs.
- Other duties as needed or assigned.
- Some travel to Wichita, KS.
