We are looking for aMaterial Handler, who will transport materials, supplies and finish products to designated locations. This full-time position is based out of Cashco, Inc. headquarters in Ellsworth, KS.
Monday-Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm OR 7:00am to 3:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Transports and loads materials, supplies and finished goods.
- Moves production jobs to the next operation per the job traveler.
- Comply with all safety regulations and requirements.
- Additional duties such as running the media blast machine when necessary.
Education:
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
Experience and Skills:
- Must be able to drive a forklift.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks daily.
- Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
- Efficient time management skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Must be extremely reliable and dependable.
- Must be a team player.
Work is performed in a manufacturing plant environment, which may involve exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels and safety hazards. Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required.
Continuous movement of parts weighing up to 50 pounds with or without accommodations are required in all positions.
Education and experience will determine beginning wage.
