Kelly Services Assistant Accountant in elwood, Kansas
Kelly Services has a DIRECT HIRE opportunity in Elwood, KS.
$25 an hour
GL Monthly Reconciliations of all accounts
Prepare/enter journal entries for month end
Assist with financial statement preparation
Monthly analysis worksheets for various areas
Responsibility for tax filings including sales/use tax
Assist the Controller as needed
Competency or Position Requirements: Must have general knowledge of all areas of Accounting. Good written and verbal communication skills, quality customer service, good organizational skills, ability to re-prioritize under changing circumstances, able to work individually and as a team. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Must have strong problem solving skills as well as highly developed skills in MS Office.
Education/Experience: Minimum of a 2 year degree in accounting with a minimum of 5-7 years of general ledger and financial statement experience.
