Resource Center for Independent Living, Inc. (RCIL) is seeking to hire a full-time Independent Living Specialist to work from our Emporia office. Empower individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals though goal development, peer group facilitation, etc. Plus perform community outreach and collaborate with like organizations. The Independent Living Specialist is responsible for advocating and delivering the core services of independent living including independent living skills training, peer counseling, information and referral services, individual and systems advocacy, and youth transition / deinstitutionalization. Travel to consumer\'s homes is required.
