Nemean Solutions, LLC is looking for an Analytical Lead to support the Mission Command Battle Lab.

Background:

The MCBL is the Army Futures Command's (AFC) premier lab for experimentation on the Command and Control (C2) Warfighting Function, Echelons Above Brigade and the integration of all Warfighting Functions. MCBL investigates emerging concepts and technologies, and explores the deep future through experimentation, studies, and prototyping to inform C2 capability development and Echelons Above Brigade modernization efforts. MCBL proposes solutions within the Science and Technology community, the generating force, and operational force.

Analytic Lead: Shall have minimum 5 years' experience with Army experimentation. Experience shall include developing Learning Demands, Measures of Performance and/or Measures of Effectiveness, and developing methodology for Army experiments. Modeling skillsets to create computer models of command and control (C2) system sub-component prototypes-personnel/organization, communications networks, processes, and command post nodes; potential behaviors can then be further analyzed and understood through relatively simple simulation, desired.

Analytic Lead Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree (any Discipline); ILE/CGSOC Graduate, MEL-4, or other service equivalent (this hits the Possesses Field-grade level knowledge and experience [desire is Army service of greater than 10 years with experiences in Army, joint, and coalition operations at the division or higher echelon] piece)

  • Five (5) or more years' experience with Army Experimentation

  • Demonstrated experience developing Learning Demands, Measures of Performance and/or Measures of Effectiveness, and developing methodology for Army experiments.

  • Knowledge of Army and Joint Doctrine and a demonstrated understanding of conducting and analyzing research and collecting data.

  • S. Citizen

  • Active Secret Security Clearance.

    Desired Qualifications:

  • Graduation from the Army War College or National Defense University

  • Ten (10) or more years' Experimentation experience

  • Possesses modeling skillsets to create computer models of command and control (C2) system sub-component prototypes-personnel/organization, communications networks, processes, and command post nodes; potential behaviors can then be further analyzed and understood through relatively simple simulation.

  • Previous Battle Lab experience (highly desired).

    Support Hours: The contractor is responsible for conducting business while the facility is open, between the hours of 0730-1630 Monday thru Friday except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings. Contractors may work in an alternative workplace when the Government facility is closed. In the event of a Government Shutdown, the contractor may work in the facility, if open/manned, or in an alternative workplace.

    Place of Performance: The work to be performed under this contract will be performed at Bldg. 470 (or other suitable location) at Fort Leavenworth, KS. All Contractor employees shall abide by local guidance at each installation as it pertains to access, face coverings, physical distancing, and mandatory quarantine policies. Any unknowns or uncertainties will be resolved with the KO or COR for questions or concerns.

    Travel: The Contractor will be authorized travel expenses consistent with the substantive provisions of the Joint Travel Regulation (JTR) and the limitation of funds specified in this contract.
