Nemean Solutions, LLC is looking for a Constructive Database Integrator (Database Administrator)

Background:

Position Summary

This is a Constructive Database Integrator (Database Administrator) position at the TOP-C, National Simulation Center, Fort Leavenworth, KS in support of the NSC Support Operations (SO) task order under MTCCS II IDIQ.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (associated discipline) / 5 yrs. DB experience supporting projects or programs of similar size, scope, and complexity;

• 5 yrs. experience with simulation and stimulation DBs;

• 5 yrs. experience providing functional and technical SME support to MCIS requirements and scenarios;

• Experience in DB languages supporting MCIS and simulations; experience with DB Management Systems such as MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL;

• Knowledge of DB design principles and best practices related to simulation, scenario, and MCIS support;

• Familiarity with data modeling tools and techniques supporting simulations;

• Experience with data migration, backup, and recovery methods; understanding of distributed DB management and knowledge of cloud-based DB solutions like AWS RDS or Azure SQL DB

• SECRET Clearance

  Support Hours: The contractor is responsible for conducting business while the facility is open, between the hours of 0730-1630 Monday thru Friday except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings. Contractors may work in an alternative workplace when the Government facility is closed. In the event of a Government Shutdown, the contractor may work in the facility, if open/manned, or in an alternative workplace.

  Place of Performance: The work to be performed under this contract will be performed at Fort Leavenworth, KS. All Contractor employees shall abide by local guidance at each installation as it pertains to access, face coverings, physical distancing, and mandatory quarantine policies. Any unknowns or uncertainties will be resolved with the KO or COR for questions or concerns.

  Travel: The Contractor will be authorized travel expenses consistent with the substantive provisions of the Joint Travel Regulation (JTR) and the limitation of funds specified in this contract.
