Nemean Solutions, LLC is looking for a Constructive Simulation Specialist - Systems Engineer III.

Background:

Position Summary

This is a Constructive Simulation Specialist (Systems Engineer III) position at the Global Simulation Capability, National Simulation Center, Fort Leavenworth, KS in support of the National Simulation Center (NSC) Support Operations (SO) task order under MTCCS II IDIQ.

What You'll Do

• Conducts overall management coordination for all technical, networking, simulation, exercise design, and administrative support

• Assists the Government in the design, development, delivery, and maintenance of simulation systems and tools, and exercise and training events

• Provides strategic solutions for standardizing technology, technical documentation, and technical support models across the site(s)

• Attends training, seminars, conferences, exercise/experiment planning events, site surveys, and training events.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related field) / 3 years of experience within the past 5 years of planning advanced computer system architectures, supervising implementation of communication systems, and integrating computer systems and interfaces in distributed architectures

• 3 years of experience within the past 5 years operating and maintaining infrastructures that include network engineering, Linux and Windows system administration, and storage engineering solutions

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with the JLCCTC systems, particularly focusing on the UE aspect

• Knowledge and understanding of how JLCCTC integrates with other military simulation systems and training architectures

• Knowledge and proficiency in systems engineering within JLCCTC, including system design, integration, and testing

• Knowledge and understanding in providing CSSM for UE to monitor, operate, and oversee GSC JLCCTC RM, TCSP, and any other cross-domain security devices that function with the SECRET and TS SCI classification

• United States Citizen

• Active SECRET Security Clearance

Support Hours: The contractor is responsible for conducting business while the facility is open, between the hours of 0730-1630 Monday thru Friday except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings. Contractors may work in an alternative workplace when the Government facility is closed. In the event of a Government Shutdown, the contractor may work in the facility, if open/manned, or in an alternative workplace.

Place of Performance: The work to be performed under this contract will be performed at Fort Leavenworth, KS. All Contractor employees shall abide by local guidance at each installation as it pertains to access, face coverings, physical distancing, and mandatory quarantine policies. Any unknowns or uncertainties will be resolved with the KO or COR for questions or concerns.

Travel: The Contractor will be authorized travel expenses consistent with the substantive provisions of the Joint Travel Regulation (JTR) and the limitation of funds specified in this contract.
