Nemean Solutions, LLC is looking for a Network Administrators (Network Engineer III).
Background:
Position Summary
This is a Network Administrators (Network Engineer III) position at the Global Simulation Capability, National Simulation Center, Fort Leavenworth, KS in support of the National Simulation Center (NSC) Support Operations (SO) task order under MTCCS II IDIQ.
What You'll Do
Conducts overall management coordination for all technical, networking, simulation, exercise design, and administrative support
Assists the Government in the design, development, delivery, and maintenance of simulation systems and tools, and exercise and training events
Provides strategic solutions for standardizing technology, technical documentation, and technical support models across the site(s)
Attends training, seminars, conferences, exercise/experiment planning events, site surveys, and training events.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (Network Mgmt. or a related field), 5 yrs. recent network engineering or similar experience may be substituted for degree/ 3 yrs. experience in network architecture design and implementation;
3 yrs. experience troubleshooting and maintaining server platforms and network devices, to include firewall configuration;
Strong skills in managing and maintaining network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking HW;
Knowledge and proficiency in network protocols, IP networking, and network security practices;
DoD IAT II & SECRET Clearance
Support Hours: The contractor is responsible for conducting business while the facility is open, between the hours of 0730-1630 Monday thru Friday except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings. Contractors may work in an alternative workplace when the Government facility is closed. In the event of a Government Shutdown, the contractor may work in the facility, if open/manned, or in an alternative workplace.
Place of Performance: The work to be performed under this contract will be performed at Fort Leavenworth, KS. All Contractor employees shall abide by local guidance at each installation as it pertains to access, face coverings, physical distancing, and mandatory quarantine policies. Any unknowns or uncertainties will be resolved with the KO or COR for questions or concerns.
Travel: The Contractor will be authorized travel expenses consistent with the substantive provisions of the Joint Travel Regulation (JTR) and the limitation of funds specified in this contract.
