Nemean Solutions, LLC is looking for a Scenario Lead to support the Mission Command Battle Lab.
Background:
The MCBL is the Army Futures Command's (AFC) premier lab for experimentation on the Command and Control (C2) Warfighting Function, Echelons Above Brigade and the integration of all Warfighting Functions. MCBL investigates emerging concepts and technologies, and explores the deep future through experimentation, studies, and prototyping to inform C2 capability development and Echelons Above Brigade modernization efforts. MCBL proposes solutions within the Science and Technology community, the generating force, and operational force.
Scenario Lead: Shall have minimum 5 years in scenario development supporting experimentation and Joint exercises. Must have breadth of knowledge from service in EAB planning and Joint Staff planning experience, Joint Service expertise/experience and willingness or desire to learn the Operational Wargaming System (OWS) and provide unit generation support of tokens that must be produced for each team (Red/Blue) to be used in Vassal (open-source game engine for building and online adaptations on a board. Ability to design and conduct relatively simple, scalable, and quick low-overhead agile wargames that help inform C2 analytical research, foresight, and advisory concept development activities, desired. Must generate and review slides in support of CONOPs and conditions, support material and additional background information.
Requirements and Qualifications:
SECRET clearance is required.
Experienced military operators with field-grade level knowledge (desire is Army service of greater than 10 years with experiences in Army, joint, and coalition operations at the division or higher echelon).
BA or BS degree from an accredited university.
Support Hours: The contractor is responsible for conducting business while the facility is open, between the hours of 0730-1630 Monday thru Friday except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings. Contractors may work in an alternative workplace when the Government facility is closed. In the event of a Government Shutdown, the contractor may work in the facility, if open/manned, or in an alternative workplace.
Place of Performance: The work to be performed under this contract will be performed at Bldg. 470 (or other suitable location) at Fort Leavenworth, KS. All Contractor employees shall abide by local guidance at each installation as it pertains to access, face coverings, physical distancing, and mandatory quarantine policies. Any unknowns or uncertainties will be resolved with the KO or COR for questions or concerns.
Travel: The Contractor will be authorized travel expenses consistent with the substantive provisions of the Joint Travel Regulation (JTR) and the limitation of funds specified in this contract.
