Nemean Solutions, LLC is looking for a Senior Military Systems Analyst to support the Mission Command Battle Lab.
Background:
The MCBL is the Army Futures Command's (AFC) premier lab for experimentation on the Command and Control (C2) Warfighting Function, Echelons Above Brigade and the integration of all Warfighting Functions. MCBL investigates emerging concepts and technologies, and explores the deep future through experimentation, studies, and prototyping to inform C2 capability development and Echelons Above Brigade modernization efforts. MCBL proposes solutions within the Science and Technology community, the generating force, and operational force.
Senior Military Systems Analyst. Must be an experienced Army/USMC operator with knowledge and experience in Army/USMC operations (greater than 10 years desired) and comprehensive knowledge and experience in systems analysis and design, information systems requirements determination, and operational architecture development; service at the level of brigade/division/corps or higher is required as is familiarity with Army/Joint Capability Development; previous service within joint and/or combined organizations is desired; familiarity with Army and Joint C2 information systems is desired, familiarity with Cyber and Space capabilities is desired; Red Teaming/Alternative Analysis functions and skills that allow for exploring alternative concepts and solution approaches, desired; Process Mapping and Improvement abilities to map and apply data/statistical analysis as part of efforts to apply automation and artificial intelligence in the future, desired; minimum educational requirements include a BA or BS degree in a relevant science or technology area from an accredited university; preferred educational requirements include a MA or MS degree in a relevant science or technology area from an accredited university and graduation from Command and General Staff College (MEL 4) or equivalent service command/general staff college; experience with the full scope of work i.e. studies, experimentation, and prototyping is desired; demonstrated experience as a task leader in support of Army or joint capability development processes and requirements is desired.
Requirements and Qualifications:
SECRET clearance is required.
Experienced military operators with field-grade level knowledge (desire is Army service of greater than 10 years with experiences in Army, joint, and coalition operations at the division or higher echelon).
BA or BS degree from an accredited university.
Support Hours: The contractor is responsible for conducting business while the facility is open, between the hours of 0730-1630 Monday thru Friday except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings. Contractors may work in an alternative workplace when the Government facility is closed. In the event of a Government Shutdown, the contractor may work in the facility, if open/manned, or in an alternative workplace.
Place of Performance: The work to be performed under this contract will be performed at Bldg. 470 (or other suitable location) at Fort Leavenworth, KS. All Contractor employees shall abide by local guidance at each installation as it pertains to access, face coverings, physical distancing, and mandatory quarantine policies. Any unknowns or uncertainties will be resolved with the KO or COR for questions or concerns.
Travel: The Contractor will be authorized travel expenses consistent with the substantive provisions of the Joint Travel Regulation (JTR) and the limitation of funds specified in this contract.
