Responsibilities:
- Assign, grade, and provide feedback on assignments, class work, homework, and tests.
- Attend in-service trainings and meetings.
- Facilitate active learning by assigning and preparing classroom curriculum.
- Implement strategies to encourage, instruct, and monitor to optimize student learning.
- Maintain comprehensive and precise record of student progress and required documentation.
- Positively correct inconducive behavior in accordance with district procedures and rules.
- Maintain a well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
- Keeping students safe physically, emotionally, and mentally while they attend school.
- Communicating with parents and other staff members regularly, including writing progress reports and holding parent/teacher conferences when necessary/scheduled.
- Abiding by the State and District rules and regulations.
