Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Frontenac, Kansas

Job Title: Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift - Flexible to Weekends

Job Description

  • As a Maintenance Technician, you will lead troubleshooting and corrective maintenance related to equipment, serving as the first level of escalation for lower-level technicians. Your responsibilities will include inspecting, operating, or testing machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions, dismantling and rebuilding machinery to remove defective parts, and performing routine preventative and predictive maintenance. You will also lead the Predictive Maintenance (PdM) program, perform repairs, verify findings and repairs of other technicians, and track performance changes for trend reports. Additionally, you will mentor junior technicians, provide safety training, maintain relay logic systems, and ensure compliance with all safety and operational procedures.

Work Environment

  • The work environment requires adherence to safety, food quality, and sanitation policies. It involves daily reporting and constant communication with plant management. The role requires following Lockout/Tagout procedures at all times. Continuing education and training in related multi-craft skills are also part of the job.
