Parents as Teachers/Parent Educator: (40 hours per week, starting pay \$17.75) Pay is based on education and experience.The Parent Educator provides parent education via regular personal visits implementing the Parents as Teachers curriculum.The Parent Educator will assess family needs and provide developmentally appropriate information, guidance, and support to parents. The Parent Educator will coordinate services with other community programs offering services to parents and their young children.\ \ Requirements:
- Minimum 2-year college degree in early childhood or 60 college hours in early childhood or a related field.
- Supervised experience working with young children and/or parents is also recommended.
- Parents as Teachers certification is preferred.
- Complete Parent as Teachers training..
