Join a dynamic team of creative media professionals in the Communications Department at Barton Community College! We want somebody who is hungry to learn and grow in their skillset, and is constantly on the lookout for the latest trends in communication. This creative role involves producing high-quality short-form videos, photographs, and written content for social media, websites, and other platforms. Responsibilities include covering college events, managing student content creators, and collaborating with team members. Hours may vary with possible weekend and evening event coverage. Bachelors degree required, preferably in a related field such as journalism, public relations or communications and two to five years of similar or related experience. Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job; work involves building relationships with others inside and outside the college.
