Robert Half Patient Care Coordinator in Great Bend, Kansas

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Patient Care Coordinator in the high tech pharmaceutical and biotech industry, located in Great Bend, Kansas. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be a crucial part of our team, providing excellent service to our customers. The role involves managing administrative and operational functions, coordinating patient interactions, and driving revenue generation.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with patients directly to ensure a positive experience.

• Handle inbound calls from potential and existing patients.

• Schedule appointments using company protocols and internal scheduling software.

• Manage and maintain accurate patient records.

• Work with patients to collect all necessary insurance documentation.

• Understand and adhere to current HIPAA laws.

• Generate clinic revenue by making outbound calls and follow-up calls to potential and existing patients.

• Maintain an accurate account of petty cash, bank deposits, and credit transactions.

• Utilize CRM and other software such as Allscripts, Banner Ads, and Cerner Technologies to enhance customer service.

• Ensure the office is always patient-ready by managing our office supply inventory according to company-approved lists. Requirements • Proficient in Allscripts, Banner Ads, Cerner Technologies, CRM, and Dentrix Dental Software

• Experience in answering inbound calls and communicating effectively with patients

• Familiarity with authorizations, benefit functions, billing functions, and chart-graph creation

• Demonstrated ability to manage patient data and maintain confidentiality

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in patient care coordination

• Understanding of healthcare industry standards and regulations

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals.
