Barton Community College seeks applicants for a full-time, replacement Student Engagement Specialist. Qualifications: A two year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school. Ability to interact professionally and effectively with students, faculty, and staff; work with students of diverse ages and backgrounds; and ability to operate independently/multitask; problem solving is a must. Experienced computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office is required as well as effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Position serves as first point of contact with all Barton Online students, will assist students/potential students with information about programs/degrees offered and general information about the college and classes. Will also assist with all office duties including processing student enrollment, working with multiple operating systems to assist students and staff, coordinating with Barton Online bookstore vendor, answering the phone and e-mail, and other traditional office duties.
