The Saw Operator is responsible for the set-up, adjustment, and operation of high-speed saw(s). Operation of CNC equipment is also included.
Job Responsibilities (not limited to)
- Set up the saw machine, making adjustments for each job
- Set stops or guides to specified lengths
- Operate the saw machine, keeping an eye out for any defects or issues
- Use measurement tools to ensure accuracy
- Help pack and transport finished pieces
- Accurately complete paperwork
Physical Requirements (not limited to)
- Ability to use hand tools as required by the company
- Lift up to 50 lbs on a routine basis
- Sit, stand, squat, bend and walk for entire shift
