Agiliti Health Production Planner in Hays, Kansas
Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
The Production Planner monitors every aspect of the production process to ensure necessary resources are available to meet delivery standards, maximize the efficiency of workflow and ensure quality of product.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides input and feedback to Management regarding schedule performance and adherence as well as risks.
Plans production schedules based on demand.
Provides guidance and influences others within Production and works collaboratively across the organization to hit key milestones as required.
Conduct what if analysis to evaluate alternative production plans and forecasts.
Conducts reviews with team members to ensure targets stay on track and escalates any concerns to management.
Oversees Production on inventory targets and best practices and Cycle Counting.
Oversees Inventory management personnel.
Utilizes MRP to direct activities of the inventory team.
Adjusts Inventory trigger points as required to drive effective use of inventory, based on usage and projections.
Communications with Supply Chain, Sales, Operations, and Finance to reconcile adjustments to planned requirements in support of changing demands.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in related field required (in lieu of a degree, must have 2-5 years relevant experience).
Hands-on experience or relative knowledge of MRP/ERP planning
Medical Device experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of production processes and quality control
Technical skills using material requirements planning and scheduling software.
Advanced computer skills required, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent critical thinking skills
Advanced oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of employees
Present a positive, professional, customer-focused attitude with a passion to succeed
Ensure accountability and produce high quality work.
Organizational and time-management skills
Demonstrate continuous improvement and/or mastery in day-to-day duties
Ability to travel – less than 30%
