You don't want to miss this opportunity! Sunflower Electric Power Corporation, a generation and transmission cooperative serving central and Western Kansas, is seeking a currently enrolled electrical engineering student for our Summer 2025 Distribution Engineering Internship.
You'll grow exponentially as an electrical engineer while working side by side with a group of talented and supportive co-workers. This position allows you to take what you have learned in your college courses and use that knowledge in real life experiences in a professional engineering environment in Hays or Great Bend, Kansas. The successful candidate will assist and support distribution planning and learn about our Member Cooperatives. You'll get the chance to work towards providing the lowest cost, most reliable, and environmentally sound distribution systems possible.

Qualifications:
Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in a bachelor level electrical engineering program (with power emphasis) at an ABET accredited institution.
